Under the responsibility of the President, the sales manager will be directly involved in the commercialization activities of the fans manufactured by the company, for the commercial industrial as well as residential construction sector.
The person will work closely with the various stakeholders (consulting engineer, industries, contractors, contractors, distributors, manufacturing agents, retailers etc.) Depending on the skills of the candidate and its evolution within the company, this job profile can be adjusted.
Tasks and responsibilities:
· Responsible for the proactive promotion of the company's products
· Management of sales activities
· Participate in business development activities
· Develop and maintain good business relationships with customers
· Develop, in collaboration with management, the commercial strategy of sales projects and the positioning of the company
· Coordinate bid preparation and delivery logistics
· Tracking submissions to ensure the greatest potential
· Update of sales database and preparation of forecasts
· Keep watch for new projects to find out about opportunities
· Inform management of all activities, opportunities and issues
· Monitoring of manufacturing agents
· Participate in trade shows
Skills sought:
· Ability to speak well, ability to present to groups
· Knowledge of the construction market
· Knowledge of the bid and spec
· Ability to develop new markets
· Computer skills Word, Excel, PowerPoint or similar software
· Must be available to move about 25% of their time
· Knowledge of sales in the construction industry
· 5 years of sales experience
· Knowledge of ventilation products (an asset)
· Bilingual (French and English)
· Driver's license
· Work schedule: 40 hours a week
